Now this is great customer service! Look what arrived in the mail today… my new ‘09 Cervelo S3 frame. I must give Cervelo a ton of credit for the excellent customer service. Last week my bike shop sent them pictures of a paint crack that developed on the down tube and a few days later… Cervelo mailed out a new frame. Not only did they replace the frame, they upgraded my ‘08 SLC-SL frame with a ‘09 the Cervelo S3. BIG props to Cervelo and Trek Bicycle Superstore San Diego.
Apart from all this training, the fun hasn’t totally ended. I hooked up with Joel, a good friend of mine who works for the San Diego Chargers NFL team. I know nothing about football, but Joel got me some tickets and even got me onto the field. For someone not really into football, I didn’t realize how big this was… sorry Joel! Seeing other guests down on the field crying and shaking at the experience kind of told me how serious this whole game is in the States. I had a fantastic day, and I guess I now have a team that I can follow - luckily the Chargers are a pretty good team! (via A Fresh New Year | Cyclingnews.com)
